Super Bowl Sunday

In two days, we will watch the Cardinals square off with the Steelers. Being a native Midwesterner, I told my husband that I was going to cheer for the Steelers. Plus I think they have good colors. So anyway, he quickly dispelled that myth. He says, Kurt Warner is my boy. Plus he’s a Christian. I said, “Ok, then.”

So that started me thinking. He is a famous football player, and he is a well-known Christ-follower. I find it quite refreshing that he is seemingly unafraid to live out his faith in a world where many are hostile toward those who have chosen to follow Christ. While I still think the Steelers have better colors, our fearless leader thinks we will cheer for the Cardinals! Fine with me. I know nothing about football anyway.
